Ready Hold lets you make a plan and, if you choose, create an account so we can keep that plan and your inventory.

We do not sell, rent, or broker personal data.

We do not put advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.

The host may record anonymous page views to keep the site up.

When you type a ZIP, we look up the city and coordinates so we can name the hazards, pull National Weather Service alerts, and check whether FEMA lists an open shelter.

A guest plan stays in that session.

An account keeps the household file you asked us to save.

If AI is on, the ZIP, household counts, and any notes you typed are sent once to Vercel AI Gateway to write that plan.

Official Ready.gov pages for this household’s hazards are fetched the same way.

We do not use that request to train a public model, and we do not store the household after the response.

Allergies, meds, and counts live in the form you submit and the plan we show you in that session.

Print the fridge card if you want a copy.

The public Brief on /news fetches official RSS feeds (FEMA, energy agencies, USGS).

Those requests are not tied to your household.

We do not use the Brief to target you.

The hold-to-call button opens your phone’s dialer for 911.

We do not dispatch anyone or share your location.

Calling 911 is for a medical or life-threatening event.

The rest of the product is so this household can stand on its own.
